Slowing Down Speeding Up

Thinking about jobs. Front End UI Developer Intern, Summer 2024? I need a resume. I need a portfolio. I need to work on schoolwork. I need to clean the kitchen. I need energy.

I want to write a blog post. I want to work on my incremental game. I want to go to bed.

I'm going to talk about something I like talking about. I've gotten a few more ideas for my game. In fact, I think I'm going to pause here and go work on it. A couple of things first: I should really grind some different concepts related to the fields I want to go into. I also need to learn to work more productively. I don't procrastinate too terribly, but I have a hard time deep working.

I'm back after roughly 7 hours. Made great progress on my incremental game, finished lab 6 for my hardware class, did my trigonometry homework, updated my resume, and tried + failed to complete my programming assignment. I've got a lot of aspirations and ideas floating around in my brain. I want to learn and be good at things. For now, let me show you how the game is going. I'm losing a bit of motivation so I'd like to keep at it.

It's been great fun. Maybe it'll be less of an idle game format. Especially since there's no clicker function. Things aren't balanced either.

Tasks:

  • Build Oxygen Generator uses crude iron.

  • Create some kind of a graph that shows your oxygen levels

  • We desperately need some kind of upgrade system.

  • I'm afraid the game is coming to an end

  • Flesh out inventory system.

Anyways, I'm still a bit wired from the 6pm cup of coffee. I'm also inspired but not actively, only passively. I'll work until I feel sick from fatigue I suppose. Reading a book also sounds nice. I need another project idea. HTML canvas? Geometry dash clone? They're not very good but I'm glad my brain can come up with ideas easily enough.

Very erratic post today, good night for now.
